  2. Nice tutorial, Malia. I just wanted to pass along a couple of tips that make this technique even easier. To automatically set the foreground & background colors in the toolbox to black & white, press D. To toggle between the foreground & background colors, press X. Here’s the best tip (and I went for years not knowing this!): to brush in a straight line, click where you want to begin the brushstroke, hold down the Shift key, then click the endpoint. Makes it so much easier to mask those windows!

    • Thanks Glenda. Those are great tips! I knew about drawing lines with the shift key but I didn’t know it worked for the brush, too! I’m going to have to try that out!
