Video: 1606 north 40th street

I’m really happy with this property video.  The fact that the house was gorgeous and the staging was beautiful sure helped!  Take a look and let me know what you think.

  1. Malia, what a nice video. It doesn’t hurt that the subject was beautiful and elegantly furnished but you managed to make it interesting and appear spacious. It looks small from the outside, was that difficult to accomplish or is it actually a large house?

  2. Great camera work. How come no front exterior shot? Didn’t care for the male’s voice. Think a female voice would be better or maybe yours Malia?

  4. I liked the male voice over. I was going to tease you about what it cost you to get such talent. I’m still trying to decide whether I liked the running water. I think full on might have been better, the trickle sounded more like a leak. Don’t get me wrong, I like everything including the bathroom faucet, I just wanted to comment on it. I really like the ending with the wine bottle. Great job as usual!

I have to ask, who writes the script? The two videos I’ve seen of yours have been done very well.

    • Thanks, Lee! There’s an interesting story with the wine: if you noticed the label was the address of the house. The owner had planted grape vines on the fence outside and made a bottle of wine from those grapes. I thought that was pretty special.

  5. Very nice work, I like the videos, I am looking at doing some video soon, your work is very inspiring.
What are you using for lighting generally?

  6. Great product! Like a previous poster, I think your scriptwriter, voice talent, and of course your shooting all mesh together quite nicely. I’d love to see a blog post on the process of making it all work. I know it’s not as easy as you make it appear. Which comes first? – the chicken or the egg?
